Autumnal Bliss - The Ayurvedic Way has been designed to help you welcome in the energy of Autumn with ease and to enjoy an afternoon of relaxation and nurturance for your mind and body.
According to Ayurvedic medicine (The sister science to Yoga), the Autumn season is comprised of the Vata dosha. Each dosha has its own qualities and characteristics and Vata translates to 'Wind' in Sanskrit which in our physical bodies helps us control the blood circulation, movement of limbs, flow of breath and expression of speech. However, the qualities of Vata in Autumn also manifest as:
Cold
Dry
Rough
Erratic
Exposed and bare
A feeling of emptiness
Autumn is a transition period from Summer - the season of 'Doing' to Autumn which is now the season of 'Being'.
As the seasons externally to us change and adjust, means that we must too. When we live in accordance with nature's natural rhythms, we experience health and longevity physically, spiritually and emotionally.
The retreat will look something like this:
13:15 to 13:45 - Arrivals with an organic cinnamon latte or herbal tea
