Beginner's yoga is perfect for those who are new to yoga or if you’re looking for a yoga ‘refresher’ course. Come along and explore what yoga can do for you. A gentle and kind class where we will build knowledge and postures week-by-week as you will be guided through the basics of yoga postures (asanas), sequencing, healthy alignment and breath techniques (pranayama).
You'll also learn simple meditation and relaxation techniques. We will learn the postures slowly and thoroughly, step by step, while addressing key points and alignment in the practice.
This beginner's course will offer you:
Breaking down postures to learn foundations of the yoga poses.
Learn basic anatomy to help understand postural alignment.
Address any injuries and ailments to understand how a yoga practice
will benefit you.
Breathing techniques.
Exploring the art of stillness to quieten the mind.
Basic meditation and relaxation practices.
You will be emailed pictures of the postures we learn each week for you to practice at home.
