With Emma Daisy
The Winter Solstice is the moment when the northern hemisphere is tilted the furthest it will be away from the sun, giving us the shortest day and longest night. It's a time of introspection, slowing down and finding stillness in both nature and ourselves. It also (quite handily) lands just before Christmas, giving us the perfect excuse to slow down during all the madness!
So let's come together to mark the Winter Solstice, celebrate the return of the light and also take a restful pause before Christmas arrives.
As we near the shortest day of the year, let’s come together to celebrate the return of the light! As the sun stands still in the sky, we’ll take time out from the usual busyness of this time of the year for movement, rest, celebration, space, and reflection. It’s the perfect time to come together as the year draws to an end and we reflect on all that’s been and how we want to move forward into 2023.
This day is the perfect opportunity to slow down, find stillness and peace and switch off before Christmas. You'll be left feeling grounded, calm and restored, ready to enjoy the festivities.
The day will look something like this:
1.30pm – Slow Mindful Flow with Emma
2:45pm Meditation
3:15pm tea & cake break
3.30pm – Journaling and Reflection
4pm – Yin & Crystal Sound Bath
