Come and join Sofia Panas on June 29th for a Yoga and Pottery Day Retreat.
After 12 years of practice (living in traditional ashrams and practicing in studios) and 7 years teaching in London, Sofia works with various tools including yoga asana (poses), pranayama (breath work) and yoga nidra (a form of guided meditation, used to relieve stress, decrease anxiety, improve sleep and more).
What you can expect:
You'll start the day with an energising vinyasa practice followed by a delicious lunch at The Coach House. After lunch, Susie Oats from Pots of Hope will guide you through a 3 hour pottery workshop. Susie will help you to tap into some of the fabulous possibilities of clay.
From hand building to throwing, you will develop your connection with and explore the enormous potential of clay as a phenomenal creative resource and achieve your own bespoke, timeless take home pieces. After pottery we'll stretch our legs and explore the beautiful grounds of Hatfield house before coming together again for Sofia's specialty class: Slow Flow and yoga nidra which will leave you feeling grounded, restored and well rested!
The day will look something like this:
12:30 arrival - Enjoy a welcome juice or tea
12:45- 14:00 - Our first morning practice- vinyasa, pranayama and meditation
Time for lunch at The Coach House
15:00 - 18:00 - An introduction to pottery
18:30- 19:00 - Time to explore the grounds
19:00 - 20:00 - Our final practice together- slow flow and yoga nidra
