Her preferred styles are Slow Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, where she combines technical precision with a welcoming and enjoyable approach to movement. Irene's motto, "move – breathe – relax," encapsulates her belief in the transformative power of yoga. She asserts that working with the physical aspect of yoga can unlock numerous benefits for the mind, heart, and soul. By nurturing self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-development through physical practice, Irene lays the foundation for improved mental and emotional health.
Before embracing her role as a yoga teacher, Irene spent over a decade in public relations and later worked as a stress counsellor. Her journey into yoga began during her pregnancy when she was advised that "yoga is good for you." This advice proved to be life-changing, as yoga became Irene's passion and anchor, keeping her healthy, active, and grounded in both her professional and personal life.
Outside of yoga, Irene enjoys reading, walking, cycling, and cross-country skiing. Her multifaceted background and holistic approach make her classes a nurturing space for all who attend.
