Meet The Team Q&A: Graham & Keeley
The Oak House family is a collaboration of Hertfordshire’s most brilliant movement guides, instructors, therapists & healers. Each member of the team is unique and excellent at what they do; weather it’s Yoga, Pilates, Massage, Physio, Accupunture or Herbal Medicine to support your wellbeing journey, we have the facilitator for you. Get to know what makes our team members so individual and what they get up to outside the walls of The Oak House…
Meet Graham, one half of the power couple behind The Oak House, you’ve probably seen G around the studio - a man on the move, he’s usually here, there & everywhere whilst running all aspects of the studio, joining pilates or circuits or walking Milo around the grounds. Graham has a brilliant business brain & studio wouldn’t run so smoothly without him!
Q: What are your self-care rituals for wellbeing?
A: In a funny way, I find I’m most connected to my wellbeing when I’m pushing myself during a tough workout or cycling through the countryside. Cycling gives me the opportunity to clear my head and let my mind wander. I feel grounded during physical activities, whether it’s a solo effort or part of a team. I try to prioritise having a healthy and happy body and mind.
Q: At The Oak House, we believe in balance and keeping it real—what are your guilty pleasures?
A: I absolutely love a good TV or film binge on the sofa! Keeley tends to avoid my Netflix profile—we have quite different tastes. You’d find me diving into psychological thrillers or TV series from across the world. It’s my way of unwinding and switching off completely.
Q: What’s your star sign, coffee order, and favourite song?
A: I’m a Gemini, and I definitely embrace the whole ‘two sides’ thing! I love being social and spending time with people, but I equally cherish my alone time. Coffee-wise, I keep it simple: a Oak Milk flat white usually hits the spot. As for my favourite song, I’m an indie boy but my two favourite songs are Johnny Cash Hurt and House Of The Rising Sun by The Animals.
Q: What do you love most about The Oak House?
A: For me, it’s the sense of community that makes The Oak House so unique. we’re trying to build something that is more than just a studio—it’s a space where people feel comfortable enough to share their thoughts and feedback, which is a huge compliment. I also love the variety we’re creating, from Reformer Pilates and Yoga to our new full-body classes—it’s all about offering something for everyone, while keeping things fresh and exciting.
Meet Keeley, our second half of the duo power couple who own The Oak House & brought the wonderful world of wellness in @hatfield_park to life! Keeley has a background in corporate project management, but it was her own health journey that put wellness into focus and, needing a change in work & life; the studio was opened… Keeley has a keen eye for beautiful interiors, loves to nurture the community of the studio & brings health & lifestyle ideas to life in our regular editorial posts.
Q: What are your self care rituals for wellbeing?
A: Movement/exercise, nutritional food and some quiet time to clear my head are a daily must for me, but I do love to treat myself as well. I love ALL kinds of relaxing treatments and indulge whenever I can but every month I have a facial and acupuncture without fail with our brilliant therapists at The Oak House.
Q: At the Oak House we believe in balance and keeping it real - what are your guilty pleasures?
A: Selling Sunset, chocolate and a cocktail... not all at the same time, well maybe the Selling Sunset and chocolate!
Q: What’s your star sign, coffee order & favourite song?
A: Aries, decaf latte, I dont have a favourite song because it depends what mood I’m in, but I like all types of music from Fleetwood Mac to Massive Attack.
Q: What do you love most about The Oak House:
A: I like the way it makes me feel. Being in the studio definitely makes you feel something, whether it’s relaxed, happy, cosy (at this time of the year). Don’t get me wrong, we all have days we dont feel like going to work but, once I get there I’m always glad I’m there and seeing everyone always gets me out of a funk.
