8 week course with Paula Malloy
The beginner’s yoga course builds week-by-week. You will be guided into learning key yoga postures (asanas), sequencing of movement, healthy alignment for your body, basic breath techniques (pranayama) as well as accessible meditation and relaxation techniques. You will receive a weekly email summarising the postures you have learnt in each class.
We will practice at a steady pace to allow you to learn slowly and thoroughly, step by step, while addressing key points in the practice.
At the end of this course you will have an understanding of: 1. The foundations of key yoga postures 2. Be aware of basic anatomy to help understand alignment 3. Address any injuries and ailments to understand how a yoga practice will benefit you 4. Gentle breathing techniques 5. Exploring the art of stillness to quieten the mind 6. Accessible meditation and relaxation practices
